If you have been following my blog for quite a while, you would notice that I mentioned Brunel University few times. Maybe few times too many. 🙂 Here is video showing you whole campus I am constantly talking about.
I have been working freelance for Union of Brunel Students for good few months and my first task was to create university tour video. Simple, short (old video was about 10-15min long) and engaging. Video is simply introcudction to campus to new students. It helps them ease in and get to know the campus better without leaving their rooms. 🙂
Since I had Glidecam HD-4000 laying around, I decided to use it for this task. It was really really heavy. Camera with lens + Glidecam and it’s weights = really heavy piece of hit to hold in just one hand.
I created the video bellow in one take, walking across campus with my actress (Thanks Khush!) and recording whole piece on 5D DLSR camera. It was very first time I used Gldiecam and footage is not as smooth and perfect as I wanted it to be, but it was fun to make this video.
